This workshop aims to develop practical and theoretical materials that empower teachers with effective knowledge, tools, and strategies to enhance students’ reading comprehension, literacy skills, and critical thinking. By focusing on integrated approaches and modern teaching practices, the workshop supports educators in creating active learning environments where students are encouraged to read, understand, and express themselves independently.

Through a blend of hands-on and theoretical methods, participants will engage in building strategies that foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. This process equips teachers to apply new techniques in the classroom and support students in developing core language abilities.

The workshop’s key objectives and expected outcomes include:

  • Developing a comprehensive guide that provides concrete strategies and activities for improving reading comprehension, literacy, and critical and creative thinking among students.

  • Analyzing and adapting guide content according to the specific needs of teachers and the student levels they work with.

  • Creating practical materials such as worksheets, reflective questions, guiding prompts, and other instructional resources in both digital and print formats.

  • Preparing assessment examples using rubrics and appropriate tools to evaluate students’ reading comprehension and writing abilities.

  • Designing lesson plans and interdisciplinary activities that effectively integrate reading, writing, and critical and creative thinking into the teaching process.

The workshop aims to lay a strong foundation for innovative teaching, equipping educators with impactful tools that directly enhance students’ learning outcomes.
